AutoStore – Visual Manifesto

Presenting the company values in an engaging way

When Studio Ianus reached out to me about this project, I hadn’t the faintest idea about warehouse robot systems and ultra-dense storage grids. But that’s the cool thing about working with different clients across various industries: you never know what you’re going to learn about next! AutoStore, however, didn’t come to us for a video explainer, what they needed was a brand manifesto.

A video that would encompass the company’s values, mission and vision, talking directly to their teams and new members in a way that was engaging, clear and authentic. The company already had a design language developed by Studio OKER, Studio Ianus expanded on that with illustrations and amazing motion design (as always) and I waved my writing wand across their leadership principles, creating a video that spoke about their core beliefs.

After exploring 3 initial directions for the script, we agreed on the approach and went to build a very orderly, clear-cut structure for the video, much in the style and spirit of the company profile, condensing their mission into strong, concise messaging pillars.

This way, they had an engaging tool that was representative to their company values and philosophy all across board. From the clear message and storytelling to the design language and the motion design, this brand manifesto works brilliantly both as an introduction to new members and a valuable reminder to the ones already there.
