Glamour Magazine

My 8 year long collaboration with the Romanian edition of Glamour Magazine has been, by far, one of my most cherished professional and personal highlights. Through the years, I’ve seen the magazine shift from a fun glossy to a full-blown niche editorial project promoting local stories with an international breadth (and I like to think I’ve brought my small contribution to that evolution). The kind of magazine you’d collect and cherish, a beautiful object bursting at the seams with insightful stories and thoughtful choices.

This collaboration also gave me a great friend — my former editor Mirela quickly became not just a supporter of some of my crazy suggestions, but also a charming partner for wining, dining and complaining. From articles about Sailor Moon's trailblazing foresight to interviews with up-and-coming astrologers, we made each edition feel like a playground and each essay a happy place for experimentation.

I was lucky enough to get to write about all the artists, illustrators, photographers and creative people I was curious about, picking their brains and sharing their work with the world. Many of my friendships and collaborations have stemmed from these interviews and I'm forever grateful I got to be a part of this story.
