Pinterest Predicts – Year in Preview campaign

An app experience that looks to the future

Imagine planets aligning. Gods smiling at you with rhinestone ridden teeth. Tiny Tetris pieces falling perfectly into place. Then comes Pinterest with a project where you have to write predictions (!!!) for a trend forecasting campaign.

And that’s just the beginning.

2021 ended with a bang and this very atypical, out of this world, super exciting project for Pinterest Predicts.
Together with illo we worked to create a user experience mixing data with cheeky lines, past preferences with future trends and a multifaceted campaign with all the cool stuff you haven’t even heard about—yet!

My (somewhat divine) contribution to all of this?
Writing short, punchy predictions for a selection of 35 trends and working closely with the Pinterest team to define, write and fine-tune the user experience beats + multiple marketing assets. I also sat on a lot of calls (☞゚ヮ゚)☞

It was an awesome collaboration that taught me a lot of things + seeing those predictions come to life in printed tarot-like cards hit me right in the feels.
